Club Ratification Process

Active LSS Clubs must be ratified every year, including both new and existing clubs. Ratification is required in order to be eligible to receive LSS Club Funding.

Starting a New Club?

If you are starting a new club at Queen’s Law, read the LSS Clubs Regulations (found on the Constitutions & Bylaws Portal page) to ensure that your proposed club adheres to the requirements. The next step is to fill out the Club Ratification Form and submit it to the LSS VP Finance either by hard copy (place in the labelled envelope outside the LSS office) or electronically via e-mail at lssvpfinance@queensu.ca

Existing Clubs

A club must be ratified every year in order to be active. Please take the time to fill out the Club Ratification Form and return it to the LSS Vice President Finance electronically via e-mail to lssvpfinance@queensu.ca.

NOTE: Club ratification happens on a rolling basis meaning that forms can be submitted at any point during the year. The LSS VP Finance must review the application, therefore ratification can take up to 4 weeks.
